Sherzod Komilov is a highly skilled finance professional with a diverse background spanning over six years across the private sector, government, and international organizations. His expertise includes debt management (issuance of international and local bonds), investor relations, audit and assurance, and environmental finance. His experience at the State Committee for Investments of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a Junior Specialist in the Department for Cooperation with International Financial Institutions laid a strong foundation in international finance and project management, enhancing his understanding of global financial systems and development initiatives. Building on this experience, Sherzod transitioned to Deloitte & Touche LLC, where he quickly advanced to the position of Senior Auditor. His time at Deloitte further sharpened his analytical and problem-solving skills, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of financial compliance and operational areas. Transitioning to public service, he served as Deputy Head of Division in Debt Management Office at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In this role, he was instrumental in developing local bond market, coordinating international bond issuances and preparation of post-issuance reports. Sherzod holds a BSs in Accounting and Finance with First-Class Honors from Brunel University London and is progressing towards his ACCA qualification. Fluent in English, Russian, and Uzbek.
